Brent Follis is a Portland-based drummer, producer and music curator known for his versatility across multiple musical genres. After studying music performance and advertising at Southern Illinois University, he spent a decade performing and collaborating in New York City before returning to the Pacific Northwest, where he has become a highly sought-after session drummer and musical collaborator.

In addition to his work as a performer, Follis has a built a reputation for producing and curating successful live music series and intimate concert experiences throughout the region.  During the pandemic, his curated outdoor concert series and venue partnerships helped keep live music active in Portland when many stages were dark.

Follis’ dedication to his craft has earned him admiration from the best musicians in the Pacific Northwest. His supportive yet understated style makes him the perfect accompanist whose mission is to elevate the music rather than to steal the spotlight for himself.
